World Refugee Day is an international day organized every year by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). It is designed to celebrate and honor refugees from around the world. People celebrated diversity and community at Homewood Church of Christ on June 20 from 12pm-4pm. This free, in-persn event was a great opportunity to learn about different cultures and gain valuable knowledge about refugees.
