Anne Ledvina presented a Zoom program on global climate migration on November 22, 2020. Anne works with colleagues at BSC (Birmingham–Southern College) and within the Birmingham community to talk about climate change and climate justice issues locally and globally. She began her career in the field of International Education 30 years ago teaching English to refugees from the former Eastern bloc and she remains committed to the plight of displaced people around the world today. Her work in education abroad and international student and scholar services is founded on the belief that education, international exchange and global partnerships lead to greater lasting peace, health and sustainability for all people and life on our planet.
