Elishua Markham serves as Chair of the ALIRP Fundraising Committee (2021-2025), and as Vice President (September 2023 to December 2024).  Elishua is a non-profit professional who currently is the Grants Manager at United Way of Central Alabama. Elishua earned a Bachelor of History from the University of Montevallo and a Master of Public Administration with a certification in Nonprofit Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. The increasing number of refugees and their often-difficult experiences seeking asylum has motivated her to get involved with ALIRP. Elishua is a dedicated dog mom who also loves to travel with her husband.
