danielle gomez

Danielle Gómez serves as the chair of the ALIRP Outreach Committee. She is the Latinx Community Development Coordinator for Cahaba Medical Care, a nonprofit community health center that provides primary, prenatal, and mental health care for underserved communities across central Alabama. Danielle is passionate about health equity, patient education, community engagement, and health literacy. She is a multilingual graduate of Samford University, where she received her B.S. in Public Health, and has been working with Latinx communities since she was a teenager, spending her summers as an intern for Los Rayos de Esperanza, a nonprofit in Nicaragua. She and her husband also serve with the Hispanic congregation of the Church at Brook Hills. ​
