Adam Oliver serves as Co-Chair of the ALIRP Fundraising Committee (February 2023 to December 2024). Adam is a public school teacher; he currently teaches AP Government, AP Macroeconomics, and sponsors the service-leadership Peer Helper group. Adam earned a BA in History from Samford University, a Master of Divinity from Beeson Divinity School, and a Master of Education from Samford University. Working with students in his classroom from refugee backgrounds and hearing increasing stories of the great struggles people go through while seeking a safe place for their families challenged Adam to help do his part alongside ALIRP. Adam and his wife, Amy, love traveling together and being proud "cat parents."
