The ALIRP has created two orientation programs for our volunteers, and we encourage all volunteers to participate in one or both of these orientation programs.
PART ONE
Part 1 of our 2-part volunteer orientation is a 16-minute video presentation for ALL volunteers who work with the Alabama Interfaith Refugee Partnership (ALIRP), including those who serve on one of our committees, as well as those who provide direct support or serve on one of our care teams for asylum-seekers or refugees.
Part 2 is an orientation specifically for volunteers who provide direct support to asylum-seekers or refugees served by the ALIRP. This 2-hour program was offered over the Zoom internet platform on July 28, 2020, and you can watch the recording through the link below.
We will be offering these programs on the internet every 3 months, so if you missed the July program, please contact the Chair of the Direct Support Committee to register for upcoming programs (DirectSupport@alirp.org).
