On January 15, 2024, the Board of Directors honored Dr. Lynda Wilson for her service to ALIRP upon her announcement to retire from all Executive duties for the organization. While we are sad to see her step down as Executive Director, we wish her all the best in her retirement! ALIRP is where it is today because of Lynda Wilson's dedication and hard work!
Lynda has been with ALIRP since its beginning as a volunteer group. She has served as a Founding Board Member, Board President, and volunteer Executive Director. Through her leadership in these roles, she helped ALIRP transition into a growing and thriving non-profit organization. Under her direction, ALIRP now has three paid positions, two AmeriCorps Vista Members and a full-time Case Manager. At the privately held event, Lynda received several guests including former board members, AmeriCorps Vista service members, and some partner families came to celebrate and honor her service. We plan to host a more public event in July during our Volunteer Celebration. |
