Hae Marilyn Fuerte-Tejeda

Hae Marilyn Fuerte-Tejeda is the ALIRP Community Health Coordinator. She manages ALIRP Direct Support programs, assesses community health needs, develops service plans, and connects people with local community and health resources.

In 2025, Hae graduated with a degree in Public Health from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). During her program, she interned with ALIRP and worked on several
qualitative research and program assessment projects with ALIRP Partners and Direct Support.

When asked about ALIRP, Hae says: "I like working with ALIRP because it gives me the opportunity to give back to my community. Coming from an immigrant family, I have seen the struggles we face first hand. ALIRP allows me to help those who usually are left behind, even though they are importantly and productive members of our communities."
