Americorps/VISTA Service Member

Katherine Fulcher is our AmeriCorps/VISTA Service Member. Katherine is a native of East Tennessee and is a recent graduate from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville where she studied political science and Hispanic studies. She developed an interest in immigration and border policy after spending a semester in Oaxaca, Mexico where she researched how media influences perceptions towards Central American migrants among Mexican university students. She has also previously worked with the immigrant community in Knoxville through Centro Hispano of East Tennessee.
